Dr. Karen Godinez Gonzalez is a Spanish-English bilingual licensed psychologist with specialized training in integrated behavioral health. She earned her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from New Mexico State University, with an emphasis in Integrated Behavioral Health. Dr. Godinez has extensive clinical experience working with individuals across the lifespan in a wide range of settings, including community mental health, university counseling centers, integrated medical environments, correctional facilities, and private practice. She has also served as an adjunct professor at California State University, Fullerton, and Pepperdine University. In addition to her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Godinez has held professional leadership positions as a committee member for both the New Mexico Psychological Association and the California Psychological Association. Dr. Godinez is an experienced presenter and educator, having provided continuing education trainings at the state level as well as professional trainings for the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) pre-doctoral internship trainees.
